Christie McGarrity is an emerging Australian performer best known for her vocal ability and performance skills in Musical Theatre

Originally born in Scotland, Christie has worked in the industry of the last 15 years since moving to Australia, with credits in amateur and professional theatre, as well as corporate performance.

Some of her most notable credits include:

• Elphaba in WICKED (2021)

• Olive Ostrovsky in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE (2023)

• Star to Be in ANNIE THE MUSICAL (2024)

• Ensemble (u/s Tracy) in HAIRSPRAY THE MUSICAL (2024)

Christie received her Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2023 with Emergent Academy. She also received her Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) from Emergent in 2024.

Alongside Musical Theatre, Christie works in the corporate industry, doing acoustic gigs around Perth and the Peel region for the likes of Mandurah Cruises, Shire of Murray and the City of Perth.

Along with performing, Christie now teaches private vocal lessons, as well as group musical theatre classes.
